We are pleased to have been chosen to carry out all the repairs and maintenance painting at Dagfields Antique Emporium, which is near Nantwich.

Dagfields has 7 Giant Antiques Emporiums .Over 250 dealers on site.50,000 sq ft of antiques and collectables. Heated, carpeted and under cover, The owners Chris and Ian like it to look nice for the visitors, so it does keep us busy.

Meaford Hall

A Grade II listed building in Staffordshire, best known as the birthplace of Admiral John Jervis, 1st Earl of St Vincent, who was a major military figure in the Napoleonic Wars.

Our project, in partnership with interior designers, lasted six months and included:

  • Cornices & mouldings - we detailed ornate cornices and ceiling mouldings in blue, red and gold.
  • Graining - trusses and beams were grained in oak, to match wood panelling to the top of the staircase.
  • Marbling - the pillars in the main bathroom were given a marble finish.
  • Woodwork - we sourced period paint colours and painted all woodwork, with an eggshell finish.
  • Other furniture - we painted an ornate carved bed, in cream and gold, to fit in with the colour scheme in the master bedroom.

Hancock Family Painting & Varnishing Staricases


We have worked for the Hancock family for 46 years carrying out all their Painting & Decorating requirements and now painting and varnishing their purpose built stairscases.

Stoke Royal University Hospital

March 2016, We have started the decorating at the Stoke Royal University Hospital which will be ongoing until 2017.

Ravenscraig Manor

Work on Ravenscraig Manor in Cheshire involved sympathetically restoring the house - which dates back to 1907 - to its original state.

The contract lasted several months and included:

  • Cornices - we have replaced old, damaged cornices by making special moulds of the originals, and in some cases casting new pieces.
  • Sourcing papers and paints - we have used farrow and ball period paint colours and traditional papers to match the original as much as possible.
  • Stripping woodwork of years of paint layers.

F.W. Ball Offices

The complete re-decorating of the office's for F.W. Ball Ltd. was carried out in 2016, working with the management to ensure the office staff were not disrupted whilst the work was carried out.

Milton Baptist Church

Milton Baptist Church Built in 2013 We decorated this using Brilliant white emulsion for the ceilings, and Endura Durable Matt in muted colours for the walls which will stand up to more wear than normal emulsion paint. The woodwork was painted in a Brilliant White gloss.

Prestigious New House Development

We started the 1st phase of this development in 2007 working on some beautiful properties and barn conversions in a country setting.

Redecorated the Offices of the Samaritans

We completly redecorated the offices of the Samaritans after their alterations in early 2013. Using neutral colours made them a bright and calming atmosphere to work in.

The Villas

We are working on one of the properties in "The Villas" which is a grade 11 listed building. We aim to restore the interior, fixing cornicing, and using period wallpapers and colours.

"The Villas" is an estate of twenty-four houses, most dating from 1851 - 55, designed by promiment local architect, Charles Lynam.

The estate was built by the Stokeville Building Society, and is referred to as "Stokeville" on early maps. The design of all twenty four houses that were built at "Stokeville" are described as Italiante by Pesvner in his buildings of England series.
