Meaford Hall
A Grade II listed building in Staffordshire, best known as the birthplace of Admiral John Jervis, 1st Earl of St Vincent, who was a major military figure in the Napoleonic Wars.
Our project, in partnership with interior designers, lasted six months and included:
- Cornices & mouldings - we detailed ornate cornices and ceiling mouldings in blue, red and gold.
- Graining - trusses and beams were grained in oak, to match wood panelling to the top of the staircase.
- Marbling - the pillars in the main bathroom were given a marble finish.
- Woodwork - we sourced period paint colours and painted all woodwork, with an eggshell finish.
- Other furniture - we painted an ornate carved bed, in cream and gold, to fit in with the colour scheme in the master bedroom.
